In
the beginning...
We met years ago in Singapore Polytechnic, introduced
by common friends. For years,
we could not stand each other. I thought of her as
a person with no sense of humour
and no matter what silly antics I do, I could not
get her to laugh at all. She could not
stand my "unique" sense of humour and is often disgusted
by me.
What triggered the change few years later? It was
when she was having some problem
with her memory card for the play station and I offered
my help. We then started meeting slightly earlier
then the appointed time when we meet our usual group
of friends. As we
spend more one-on-one time, we started to know more
about each other and grown
closer.

On a very ordinary day, she finally accepted my love
after a month of "probation" and
we began a new chapter in our lives together as a
couple. The journey was not without
clashes of opinions and views, after all, we are very
different individual brought together
by God into an unlikely union. |
